Policy Commentary

What are our Federal politicians saying about illicit drug issues?

Whenever a new government takes office questions begin to arise about the continuity of policy. In order to get an indication of any likely policy course we undertook to see what our Parliamentarians were saying about illicit drugs. This document outlines the key statements about illicit drugs from Parliamentary sittings and mentions in Committees for the first 12 months of the Rudd Government to September 2008.
