The World Drug Report

The World Drug Report is published by the United Nations Office of Drug Control (UNODC) and is produced annually. It covers production, seizures, prices and consumption, divided by drug type. Formally called the Global Illicit Drug Trends report and a separate World Drug Report, these are now merged. Data come from the ARQ (annual report questionnaire) completed by governments, and supplemented by other sources.

The State of the Drugs Problem in Europe

Published since 1996 the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) produces annual reports on drug facts, figures, latest trends and social, legal and political responses in Europe. The latest report is the Annual Report 2006: the State of the drugs problem in Europe which provides European and national data for 27 nations:

Monitoring the Future

In the USA, Monitoring the Future, is an annual survey of American secondary school students, college students, and young adults. Each year, a total of approximately 50,000 8th, 10th and 12th grade students are surveyed.

National Survey on Drug Use and Health

The USA conducts an annual Household Survey: The National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) series (formerly titled National Household Survey on Drug Abuse) primarily measures the prevalence and correlates of drug use in the United States.
