Accessing Experts
Policy makers have told us that the most efficient way that they get access to information is through the telephone – contacting an expert in a particular area and seeking their advice.
DPMP aims to facilitate the relationship between policy makers and experts.
We do this through maintaining a confidential list of experts – people we regard as experts (whether that be researchers or practitioners), who are willing to be connected with policy makers when the need arises.
Policy makers can ring DPMP (Associate Professor Alison Ritter T: +61 (02) 9385 0236) when they are seeking expert advice, and if DPMP has an expert in that area, we will connect them up.
